TRACK INFORMATION
DIRECTIONS
Hardrock Cycle Park is located at
the north end of Ocala on C-25A, 3/4 mile south off SR326 (Exit 358 from
I-75).

MOTOCROSS
PRACTICE SCHEDULE - Monday -
10am to 5pm - All tracks
- Tuesday - 10am to 5pm - All tracks
- Wednesday - 10am to 5pm
- Thursday - 10am to 5pm - All tracks
- Friday - 10am to 5pm
- Saturday - 10am to 5pm (except for a specific track that may be
scheduled for a race)
- Sunday - 10am to 5pm - All
tracks (except for a specific track that may be
scheduled for a race)
NOTES: 1. Racing type ATV's are
invited to practice on all MX tracks. No utility or trail type ATV's are
not permitted on
tracks or trails.
2. Bicycles are permitted in the pit area, but not on the tracks or trails.
Mountain bike trails are not
available.

5. If your minor child is planning to ride or race at Hardrock
without the parents being present, you will need a
notarized parental consent form to designate a temporary guardian.

MOTOCROSS PRACTICE COSTS
- MX Practice - $25 per day.
- Hardrock Annual MX Membership $35 (good until December 31).

OFF-ROAD VEHICLE INFORMATION
Jeeps and off road vehicles
only, now have a section of Hardrock to call their very own. It
contains big climbs, a rock garden and trails. Open for use whenever
the park is open, which is 7 days a week 10am to 5pm. So please take
advantage of this unique terrain and come and join us for some fun.
Price: $25.00 per day per vehicle
HARDROCK RULES
- Helmets required
- Ride only on tracks or roads
- No cutting or stopping anywhere on the track
- Follow marked trails only
- 1st gear only on roads
- Dispose of waste properly
- Dogs on leashes
- Ride at your own risk
- Quite time is 9:30pm
- Park gate closes at 10pm
- Park is not responsible for lost or stolen articles
MAIN TRACK
The
main motocross track is approximately 2 miles long
with elevation changes of over 100
feet. This track is quite technical, with virtually every type of obstacle
you can imagine. It is hard pack, with some loamy corners. The
signature obstacle is the "Water Tower Jump", which is a 100+ foot
high hill with a jump trajectory of over 100 feet. It also has several uphill
step-ups, plus some very fast downhill sections. Recommend a hard pack
tire. The main track is groomed every Monday and Friday for practice sessions.

here to view new photos of the main track. ROLLERCOASTER TRACK
This track is 40 feet wide and is all natural terrain. There are no
man-made jumps or obstacles, and is similar to a European GP track.
SAND TRACK
This is an all-sand track that will give you a great work-out. It will
also give you the practice you need to ride the many sand tracks in Florida.
OUTBACK TRACK
This track is an intermediate
track that is all tabletops and small elevation changes. It seems to be
the crowd favorite and has been design to accommodate vintage and novice riders,
including mini bike riders.
It is still a challenging and fun track that gives riders a chance to hone their
skills before venturing out on the main track. We will be starting a
Saturday race series on this track in late 2005. PEE WEE TRACK
The hard
pack track was specially designed for our beginning 50cc riders. It is challenging,
but safe, and provides the young riders with a variety of obstacles.
Located next to the bleachers, this track is spectator friendly. If you've
got a little one just starting out, or a "mini hot shoe", this is the
track for you. HARE SCRAMBLES COURSE
After many requests, we have laid out a new, and challenging hare scrambles
section.
FREE STYLE
This section of facility is designed to accommodate the free style riders.
New sections will be added periodically.
GENERAL FACILITIES
Hardrock is a couple of steps above most
motocross tracks when it comes to amenities. There are indoor restrooms
with showers, and RV water and
electric hookups are
plentiful (over 50). You can
also camp overnight without the RV hookup. Plenty of pit space,
with some trees for those hot summer days. A parts and accessory shop is
on site, which also has snacks and drinks available for practice sessions.
Full food menu is available at all races. Hardrock also accommodates
the Vintage Motocross and Trials events by modifying the facilities for these
specialized bikes.
